Goat Greetings to Ewe!

Bleating Heart Haven is a cottage business/fiber farm located in rural New Holstein (northeastern Wisconsin)  We are located 1.25 miles west of Hwy 57 between New Holstein and Chilton.(Our address is W1993 Thede Road, New Holstein, WI) . We primarily raise registered colored Angora goats, but we also have other fiber animals: White Angora goats, Cormo sheep, CVM-Romeldale sheep, Shetland sheep, Huacaya Alpacas, and Suri Alpacas. And, let's not forget Hilda and Wilhelm, the German Angora bunnies!

We do all our own animal care from shearing to hoof trimming, and we wash, dye, card, spin, and knit/weave with the fibers. (However, we do need to rely on commercial mini mills on occasion when we have too much volume to process on our own.)

In 2007 we completed our fiber arts studio allowing us to move the carders, spinning wheels, and looms to the studio. The studio has since evolved into a fiber arts shop and classroom.  The fiber arts shops opens for the winter (2012) onthe 4th Saturday of every month (Feb. 25, March 24, and April 28, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 3p.m.)  Call for an appointment if this doesn't work for you :)
And, since natural fibers are our passion, we also do basket weaving and willow furniture...

We're on Facebook too! Click here to get there!
